A Shore Delight has operated successfully for the past 12 years, serving the needs of both short and long term guests. It is the intent of the owners to ensure a safe, secure facility supporting the learning environment of college students.

    (September - April)

    Bedrooms
    #1 upper - $550 per month
    #1 lower - $550 per month
    Remaining 3 bedrooms - $550 per month

  •   Eight postdated cheques will be required Sept 1st


  •   The monthly rent covers all utilites and cable/internet charges.


  •   Two phones are available for local calls (no charge). Long distance calls will need a prepaid phone card

  •   A $500 damage deposit will be due upon reserving your room. Interest will accrue and be payable upon departure.


    • General Information  A Shore Delight faces Okanagan Lake with a south west exposure.

    A brick driveway leads to a large parking area.

    Housekeeping is provided weekly in the common areas of the residence.

    Smoking is not allowed inside the home.

    Due to its location within a residential community, a quiet time policy exists (11pm to 7am).

    No pets.

    Common Areas


    Kitchen
    The spacious, bright, kitchen has a large refridgerator with ice and water dispensor. A Jennair range is built into the open counter. In addition, a built-in oven, microwave and diswasher along with all the small appliances one would expect to find at home (coffee maker, toaster, popcorn machine, blender, etc, even a bread maker!)

    Dining Room  Large oak table with seating for ten people overlooking the lake.

    Living Room  With wood burning fireplace

    Recreational Room  50" tv, vcr, cable.

    Beach and Dock  The small pebbly beach slopes gently into the crystal clear waters of Lake Okanagan. The private and licensed dock stretches 30m out from shore to a large platform with patio table and chairs.

    Laundry Room  A large tiled floor, cedar walled room with washer/dryer, iron and ironing board.

    Bathrooms  Two full bathrooms, one on each level Master bedroom has a half bath. (Students are expected to provide their own linen and towels)
    Bedroom #1 (upper level) $550 per mo. - Queen size bed, full bedroom suite, closet, shower, toilet and washbasin.

    Bedroom #2 (upper level) $550 per mo. Single bed, closet, dresser, desk

    Bedroom #3 (upper level) $550 per mo. - Single bed, closet, desk, chest of drawers, private entry

    Bedroom #1 (lower level) $550 per mo. - king/queen/ single bed (to suit occupant), closet, full bedroom suite, desk

    Bedroom #2 (lower level) $550 per mo. - Single bed, full bedroom suite, closet, desk

     

    		 Outside Amenities
    Wrap around deck, barbeque, two patio sets, ample seating, a large Dimension One hot tub, basketball hoop and a spacious lawn.

    The garden has extensive brick walkways and patio. Underground sprinkler system. Landscaped with brick retaining walls. Several ponds and waterfalls.
